GUN CONTROL
OBAMA would back new limits on assault weapons.
McCAIN would block any changes Democrats may propose.
Obama surprised and annoyed gun-control advocates when he backed a Supreme Court decision knocking down the District of Columbia's ban on handguns, but the Democrat says states and cities should have the right to put limits on gun ownership, particularly on assault weapons. He says he has no intention of denying legitimate hunters from having the weapons they need.
McCain is a stronger opponent of any additional limits on gun ownership.

The right to bare arms is a constitutional right that will be respected. The only stipulation should be that all privately and company owned weapons will require a back round check and a minimum of one month waiting period.
The right to bear arms was meant for state militia's, not private citizens. This amendment should be practiced as it was enacted. Throw the gun lobby to wolves .. along with the Tobacco & Pharmacutical Lobby's.
